Abstract

Research activities are generally carried out by students as part of the completion of the final project (thesis) which is one of the graduation requirements for obtaining a bachelor's degree. There are several reference sources that can be used as references in conducting research, including textbooks, previous research journal articles, data and information published by official institutions, as well as results of observations or preliminary research. With a complete reference source, it is expected that students can easily conduct research and write their final project. This community service activity seeks to provide training and practical instructions in accessing national and international journal articles, as well as the process of writing final assignments and publishing scientific articles. This community service activity aims to accelerate students' ability to complete their final project, as an implementation of a cooperation agreement that has been agreed upon by the Faculty of Economics, Jakarta State University with several universities in Indonesia. The time for implementing this community service activity is October 15th  2022. The training was be carried out via media zoom, bearing in mind that currently, Indonesia is still in a pandemic period so there are limitations to conducting face-to-face learning. For this reason, various tips will be explained through this training on how to access various research reference sources that can be carried out by optimizing the use of digital applications. It is hoped that through this training, FE UNJ can actively collaborate with other tertiary institutions in Indonesia in improving capabilities and accelerating the completion of student final assignments in Indonesia

Abstract

This community service report aims to socialize the need for School-Owned Enterprises (BUMS) as an alternative source of funding for education units. Each school does have the opportunity to get funding from the government and local government, as well as the community, but in reality the education unit operates the education budget roughly. Therefore, education units need to find alternative sources of education funding. One way is to establish a School-Owned Enterprise. This BUMS is the same position as State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs) in the central government, Regional Owned Enterprises (BUMD) for provincial, district and city governments, and Village-Owned Enterprises (BumDes). The recommended BUMS can be PT, CV or Cooperative. But among the three economic institutions, cooperative is the most suitable for schools. Because, in cooperatives it is not only an economic matter, but in it there is a spirit of mutual assistance, and the spirit of education. BUMS is a manifestation of the creativity of education units under the responsibility of school principals, in addition to educational issues. All BUMS activities are the full responsibility of the principal. However, BUMS is carried out according to the rhythm of the business world, so that this institution is purely a professional economic institution

Abstract

SMEs Gipang Cassava IKA-KE has been around since 2013, located in the Cilentrang RT. 02/01 No. 126 Purwakarta Village, Purwakarta District, Cilegon. Mrs. Djum'ati as the owner of the IKA-KE Gipang Cassava UMKM said that the background for the establishment of this business was from a friend's request. The response from the first sales was good, Mrs. Djum'ati expanded her business, and started selling the cassava gipang at the puskesmas, village office, and several cooperatives in Krakatau Steel's subsidiary. In 2015 Gipang Cassava IKA-KE won 2nd place in the Banten Province food innovation championship. Already having a turnover of IDR 10,000,000 per month, Gipang Cassava IKA-KE only sells its products around Cilegon and Serang. Gipang Cassava IKA-KE has not succeeded in entering markets outside the two cities. The Covid-19 pandemic in 2020-2021, caused IKA_KE's Gipang Cassava sales turnover to decrease by more than 50%. This is because IKA-KE's Gipang Cassava only sells through conventional channels, which during the Covid-19 pandemic limited their operating hours, such as cooperatives and village offices. The method of implementing this community service activity includes preparation, implementation of assistance, as well as evaluation and monitoring. The results of this dedication show positive results. UMKM Gipang Cassava IKA-KE has a social media with 109 followers, which has succeeded in increasing sales by 40%, and also expanding the market to Jakarta and West Java

Abstract

One of the strategies of the STKIP PGRI Jombang Economics Education Study Program to achieve the Prodi’s vision, mission and goals is to equip students with competence in the field of entrepreneurship. The rise of digital technology as a form of management change in the business wold cannot be utilized optimally by students. Digital marketing is one of the important aspects that must be mastered by economic actors today, this is because by using digital marketing products or services can be distributed at a faster rate and a wider reach than traditional marketing. To overcome the problems mentioned above, we carry out community service activities in the form of training on creating digital marketing content to improve student entrepreneurship competence, so that it is hoped that it will help training participants to understand more deeply about the most effective and efficient implementation of digital marketing, and be able to open up business opportunities, namely from business ideas to how to market it independently and sustainably. Abstract

This Community Service Research, which was funded by the Makassar Dipa University Foundation, is intended as a form of approach offered to overcome the problems that exist in the UMKM assisted group of Vena Energi. The problem that is often faced by MSMEs is in the process of introducing and marketing their products. MSME actors have taken several ways to introduce their products to the public, namely by posting their products to social media such as Facebook, Instagram or via WhatsApp status. However, this did not have an impact on increasing sales of their MSME products, this was because the posts of MSME actors on social media had not yet targeted social media user criteria such as age criteria, location, hobbies, and many other criteria. This can only be done when MSME actors post it in the form of advertisements known as Facebook ads and Instagram ads. For this reason, we, from the team implementing the community service program activities at Dipa Makassar University, have held community service in the form of training for MSME actors in the Vena Energi Jeneponto fostered group, so that they have the skills and ability to advertise and target potential buyers based on criteria that match their MSME products in facebook ads and also Instagram Ads.The result is the creation of MSME actors who are able to utilize Adsense social media to optimize MSME product advertisements so that they are more targeted and able to increase the number of MSME product sales for the Vena Energi Jeneponto fostered group

Abstract

Disasters can be caused by natural events or man-made. Factors causing disasters include natural hazards and man-made hazards, which can be grouped into geological, hydrometeorological, biological, technological, and environmental quality degradation. The territory of Indonesia is located in a tropical climate region with two seasons, hot and rainy, which are characterized by extreme changes in weather, temperature, and wind direction. These climatic conditions, combined with diverse topography and soil types, result in fertile soil conditions. High population growth is not balanced with equitable and adequate economic, social and infrastructure policies and development, gaps in several aspects and sometimes social jealousy arises. This condition has the potential to cause conflicts in society that can develop into national disasters. Facing disasters requires the application of disaster preparedness education in schools with training. Disaster preparedness training is necessary for the school from the principal, teachers and students to understand how to evacuate themselves during a disaster so as to minimize casualties. The results of this community service activity are not in the form of objects but in the form of understanding and response to actions when facing disasters. Disasters cannot be predicted precisely because the nature of the occurrence of disasters is fast and there are slow disasters. There are also disasters that occur due to natural factors and occur due to human intervention

Abstract

The integrated crop-livestock-fish farming systems between rice and duck is the potential to optimize the use of post-tin mining to develop agricultural activities in Bangka Belitung Islands Province. The success of the Mekar farmer group in rice farming in the area of post-tin mining is yet followed by optimizing the use of rice bran waste as the source of feed ingredient. Currently, the farmers face difficulty in mastering the agricultural technology, as a result, the rice bran waste as the duck feed is applied without any feed processing. The objective of the community service is to empower society in utilizing the Probio_FM technology to make duck feed with rice bran waste as the essential ingredient. The methods of community service were implemented in three stages: socialization, demonstration & training, as well as monitoring & evaluation. The qualitative descriptive analysis was conducted to analyze the data. The community service discovered that the farmers had utilized the Probio_FM technology in feed processing by producing the fermented bran feed for the duck. The effect of technology utilization was that the bran for animal feed was more likable, able to reduce the bad odor of animal environment, as well as the effective and efficient feed management systems. Furthermore, the knowledge on agricultural technology and behavior of livestock farmers had positively improved in utilizing the rice bran waste as the source of feed ingredient. The use of Probio_FM should be sustainable and was the potential to be optimized in integrated farm management in post-tin mining land. It could be a solution to reduce the dependency on antibiotics used to support disease control. It could also provide the solution to the feed cost problem to achieve environmental-friendly livestock farming activity

Abstract

Indonesia is an earthquake-prone country. Almost all of the islands in Indonesia lie in the ring of fire of the world's earthquakes. Earthquake disasters often occur and cause a lot of loss, both property and casualties. However, until now, education for the public to be prepared for earthquake disasters is still inadequate. The community is always unprepared and only resigned to fate in facing the earthquake. Earthquake disaster mitigation is generally the responsibility of the government, but the government itself cannot make effective efforts without the help of experts and the participation of the community itself. The PKM Earthquake Safety Training Program is aimed at the people of Kelurahan Bendung, Kecamatan Kasemen, Serang, Banten because based on the findings of the latest earthquake fault, namely the Baribis Fault, the area has the potential for a large earthquake to occur. This program aims to educate the people there about prevention efforts before an earthquake occurs, what to do when an earthquake occurs, and what to do after an earthquake occurs. It is hoped that the knowledge provided will be useful, and the people there can be prepared for earthquake disasters, so that loss of life and property due to the earthquake can be diminished.
